February Edit

Hi friends!

Happy love month!!! 💘 February is truly one of my favorite months because I fully lean into the cliché of it all. I am the ultimate romantic and a forever fan of all things cheesy Valentine’s Day—from pink bows to heart-shaped everything. This February edit is filled with the classic color palette of the season, romantic lifestyle touches, and tips for hosting the perfect Galentine’s celebration with your favorite girls.

February is a month meant to be saturated in all things fuzzy, cozy, and ooey-gooey. Whether you’re a hopeless romantic or totally checked out on Valentine’s Day, there are so many opportunities to romanticize this season and make it feel special in your own way.

Let’s start with the obvious: the February color palette

RED. PINK. CREAM.
Red, pink, cream—on repeat!!!

Red isn’t typically part of my everyday color scheme, but February gives me the perfect excuse to get creative with my style and incorporate it in fun, unexpected ways. For example, if I’m wearing a monochromatic cream outfit, I’ll throw on a red neck scarf for a playful pop of color. I do the same with my fuchsia satin scarf—it instantly elevates the look.

Neck scarves and bandanas are such an underrated accessory. They add visual interest, feel effortlessly chic, and are an easy way to try color without committing to a full outfit. Most of my scarves are from Madewell, Target, and Amazon—affordable, versatile, and perfect for both casual and dressed-up looks.

If you’re feeling bold this month, you can also go all in and color drench your wardrobe in red and pink. Think matching red sets, pink knitwear, or a red sweater paired with coordinating sneakers or ballet flats. Even if red and pink aren’t “your colors” (I get it, girl), February is the ideal month to experiment, try something new, and just have fun with your closet. I mean… it’s only 28 days!

Romanticizing February beyond your closet

Outside of fashion, February is all about letting your inner hopeless romantic shine. I love adding Valentine’s banners, festive tea towels, and playful seasonal decor to my otherwise neutral home. Does it perfectly match my curated aesthetic? Not really—but that’s part of the charm.

To bring in those soft, romantic vibes, add a few simple floral arrangements around your home. These don’t need to be elaborate—baby’s breath, white carnations, or pink blooms go such a long way. Don’t feel pressured to buy roses either. Mixing up florals adds a flirty, lighthearted energy that feels fun and approachable. Let this month be joyful, not serious!

Hosting the ultimate Galentine’s celebration

Galentine’s Day is hands-down my favorite excuse to host. There’s nothing better than gathering all your favorite girls in one space, laughing, snacking, and celebrating friendship. This year, I’m hosting my second annual Galentine’s brunch (and yes, there will be a full blog post coming soon 👀).

If you’re planning to host a Galentine’s event this February, here are a few tips to keep it fun and stress-free:

  • Don’t overthink the guest list. Invite the girls who make you feel your best and bring good energy.

  • Communicate the dress code. Whether it’s cozy coffee-and-pajamas or girly cocktails, a clear dress code helps guests get excited.

  • Ask about allergies ahead of time. It’s thoughtful, considerate, and makes everyone feel cared for.

  • Use paper and plasticware strategically. Paper plates for eating + serving dishes for display = fewer dishes and a happier host.

  • Most importantly—have fun. Truly, that’s the whole point.

I hope this February edit inspired you to step outside your comfort zone and add a little extra romance to your style, home, and hosting this month.
